Interfaith Peace Concert

The world continues in its efforts to bring peace in the world. Music is the universal language that all can understand. Music opens peoples hearts, and fills them peace and joy.

Sunday, March 21st 2010 the Guru Ram Das Ashram Ragi Jatha joined many other musical ensembles from other Faith groups, at the Interfaith Peace Concert held at the Pomona Unity Church.

Peace Picnic

Since 2006, the Southern California Sikh community successfully organized a "Peace Picnic" to celebrate "International Peace Day" each September. Peace Picnic brings together our neighbors in the South Robertson area in celebration of our dedication to living a peaceful way of life. The afternoon starts with free food donated by local restaurants and community members. People joyfully gathered to share meals and meet one another. During the main program, prayers of peace are offered by ministers and leaders of various faiths. The day continues with uplifting dance and musical performances and activities for children.

World Peace Inter-Faith Pilgrimage

Every year members of the Sikh community walk up Mount Baldy mountain to pray for peace with other faith leaders.
